Sophie is Cultural Correspondent for The Netherlands and the founder of Happy Around the Globe which offers Intercultural Training, Relocation Training and Expat Coaching. Sophie has a Masters Degree in International Business from the University of Maastricht, is accredited as a Coach by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) and the NOBCO (Dutch Coaching Council) and a Certified Intercultural Trainer for Argonaut’s CultureConnector Assessment. Besides these accreditations, she has extensive hands-on intercultural experience, since she lived in 5 foreign countries. Her home country is the Netherlands and she has also lived in Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, India and France. By experiencing life in so many different countries and educating herself on both cultural understanding and personal transformation, she has gathered the tools needed to help anyone succeed in an international setting.
